Coloring pages can provide enrichment by providing pictures of numbers, letters, animals, and words, so that your child will expand their knowledge in a number of areas. Your child will receive the greatest educational benefit when the coloring pages bring all of these elements together, such as when there is a picture of an animal with it’s name written on the page, or when numbers are shown with the name of the number written out, or even a two-sided coloring page with one side showing the letter, number or word, and the other side of the page depicting an animal whose shape resembles the letter or number on the previous page. Take for example a coloring page that has a number one, along with a giraffe that is reminiscent of a number one in it’s shape. Your child will not only have fun coloring the number and animal, but their lesson will also include writing the number one and being introduced to a giraffe.
If your child gets tired of coloring by numbers, you can easily switch the program to simple mode, where no numbers are used. Your kid can just have a good time, coloring cheerful pictures in their favorite colors! As you can see, these colors have been carefully adapted for young children. When they color with us, children enter the world of mathematics through entertaining games — and learning is neither difficult nor boring.
We have yet to discuss the benefit that your child will be learning about the different colors as they color their pages. And the more exposure your child has to coloring, the more they will learn about the typical colors of objects, and they will begin to choose specific colors for specific items, such as red apples, or green leaves.
This skill will develop gradually as they go from struggling to stay inside the lines, to perfecting this fine motor activity. Armed with this new information, don’t you feel that providing your child with these powerful learning tools is something that you should do? Coloring pages offer a great way to combine learning and enjoyment for your child.
Expert mode has slightly older children in mind. In this mode, the picture is divided into a large number of small parts. It’s harder to figure out what is depicted: this makes coloring more of a game. Children want to find out what will be in the final picture! But to color it, they need to know their numbers to select the right color. When your child is tired of coloring by numbers, it is easy to switch from coloring by numbers to normal coloring. Combined with the color selection function, coloring becomes a real pleasure!
Kids have a natural inclination towards drawing and coloring and this quality is used appropriately by coloring pages. Colors attract children in a big way and that is why play schools or preschools keep their environment multicolored so as to retain the interest of children. These pages provide an excellent way of teaching children about the nature, water bodies, trees, and other things that they see around them. Kids learn quickly when learning process is made fun for them and coloring pages for kids do just that.
